Userplane Directory 2.0 Launches
Today, we launched our new version of the Userplane Directory. This rollout will primarily affect Userplane community owners (Instant Install), who will see some new and improved features:Â
- New “Most Active” chat section - updates every 5 minutes
- Ability to sort search results to only see the chats with active users in them
- Easier access to chat room personalization because it is now localized in one easy access area
- Faster “my users” section w/ enhanced usability
- You can now customize the window title of your chat
- You can now delete your communities and even your own account (Userplane ID)

The overall launch of the new 2.0 directory looks really nice. How can the publishers who have pursued a more in depth integration of Userplane into their communities come to be included in this directory?
On evenings we will regularly bring in over 70 simultaneous users w/ an average of over 20 streaming cams. All of this is done through our own efforts and search engine optimization to our own site. We’d really like to leverage the newly launched directory of Userplane to help us add to that traffic.
Is Userplane at some point looking to get their other publishers involved in the next version of their directory?
